tengo hambre  (I have hunger = I am hungery.)
tengo sed  (I have thirst = I am thirsty.)
Tengo hambre, quiero comer algo.  (I am hungery, I want to eat something.)

tengo fri'o (I have cold = I am cold.)
tengo calor (I have heat = I am hot.)
tengo miedo (I have fear = I am afraid.)
?Tienes fri'o?  (Are you cold?)
Tengo mucho calor.  (I am very hot.)
No pude dormir - tuve mucho fri'o.  (I could not sleep.  I was very cold.)
Tuve miedo porque pude ver algo.  (I was afraid, because I could see something.)
Tiene miedo de volar.  (She has afraid of to fly = she is afraid of flying.)
volar = to fly (base form)

two new irregular verbs
quise = I wanted
hise = I did or I made

Quise hacerlo, pero tuve miedo.  (I wanted to do it, but I had fear.)
Lo quise, pero no pude comprarlo.  (I wanted it, but I could not buy it.)
Tuve fri'o y quise una manta.  (I had cold and I wanted a blanket.)
Lo hise ayer.  (I did it yesterday.)
Hise lo que pude.  (I did what I could.)

ra'pidamente = quickly
Normalmente lo encuentro dificil, pero ayer lo hise ra'pidmente.
(Normally I find it difficult, but yesterday I did iot quickly.)

empezar = to begin, to start
Voy a empezar man~ana.  (I am going to start tomorrow.)
Acabo de empezar.  (I just started it, began.)
Empece' ayer.  (I started yesterday.) z --> c
empiezo = I start
Empiezo ahoy.  (I start today.)
?Qua'ndo empiezas?  (When do you start?)
No empieza hasta man~na.  (He does not start until tomorrow.)
Si empezamos ahora, podemos terminarlo hoy.  (If we start now, we can finish it today.)
